Finally! The weight of the world is no longer on my shoulders. Why? Because we turned our 1st quarter project in on time! I think that being on time is very important, not only in media but, at jobs, school, sports, and basically everything. For example, being on time is important for a job assignment, meetings, and school.

First of all being on time is very important for a job assignment. Your boss could assign you to do an important report on the stocks. You may not want to because your “lazy or tired” so you just goof around and pretend like your typing. Your boss is the one who hired you and could easily fire you. If you didn’t do your assignment your put on the line of being fired. If you want to find another job, you could be known as the person who doesn’t do their job and that could make you struggle to find a new job.

Being on time to meetings is another reason of why being on time is important. It could be some really boring meeting that very few people want to go to but, you have to go for important information. If you show up to the meeting late, they could have gone over a bunch of information that they’d have to share with you again and waste their time. Or they could leave you in the dust and not fill you in on anything.

Lastly, being on time is important for a school project. Our first quarter projects are a great example of a deadline you don’t want to be late on. Many of us figured out the hard way that procrastinating will not help with anything. If we turn in our project in a day late, our grade goes down, and it keeps going lower and lower for every day it’s late. And if you want a good grade, meeting your deadline is important!

In conclusion, being on time is very important in our everyday lives, from the classroom to the workroom. Media teaches us this life skill to meet our deadlines. Being on time is important for Job assignments, meetings, school, and much more.
